Zoo Day

We went to the Peoria Zoo today. My friend Shelley and her son, Levi, went with us. Thanks Shelley for letting us be your guest today. I'm glad i didn't have to pay the $6 for admission. For those of you who have been to the zoo you know how small it is and that their are not a lot of animals. Usually the monkeys are the coolest thing, but the monkeys were gone b/c they were repairing the bars to their cages. Mae really wanted to see the monkeys. Mae also wanted to feed the goats at the petting zoo. But they had taken down the food machines, she even brought her own money to buy some food. Luckily she adapted well to the circumstances. We did get to see 2 tigers, 2 zebras, 2 sea lions, 1 camel, a couple of tourtoises and black swans, and a peacock that made Noah cry when it gawked. Even though their was a shortage of animals at the zoo, we still had a nice day.
